It goes without saying, basketball is the second most popular sport in the world- behind soccer of course. There’s just something special about dribbling, playing, and shooting the ball that makes me happy. I don’t know what it is, but it’s contagious. If you’ve ever played basketball before- you know what I’m talking about.
Now that you know how passionate I’am about basketball, it is a huge goal of mine this year to play three times a week at least. Fitness is a big part of my life, and I can’t think of a better way to stay in shape than to play some intense basketball with my friends. It truly is a special workout. Regardless of the sport you play, having friends close by to share the experience is important.
2017 will be the year I take the game of basketball much more seriously. Practicing my shot and handles will be what I focus on the most. There’s always something to practice; everyday. Regardless of all the stress in the day, allowing for some time to relax & play ball is always special. It really is hard to put words into the actual feeling I feel when I step on the court.
